Working in Redwood City

January 3, 2011 - 10:29pm -- Animal

I'm going to be working in Redwood City part time from this year.

I'll be spending January and February there at first, and from then on, I'll be visiting for short work blocks every other month.

I'm from the UK, and I'd like to get some advice about riding to work, finding group rides, where to buy kit.

I've ordered a bike, and I'll use it as my primary transport which is what I do here.

Not sure exactly where I'll be living, they're arranging that, but the office is at the end of Seaport Boulevard. What's that like for riding along?

Thanks,

Nige (Animal) White

If work doesn't have showers, either take it easy biking into work, or you can use moist wipes (like for cleaning babies).

Backpack can work for carrying a change of clothes to the office.

Ask again if you have more (specific?) questions.
