Cycling to Shoreline for a concert?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has cycled to Shoreline for a show? How was the ride? Is there safe parking? One concern is riding home after the show. Google Maps suggests a bike route along what looks like a creek to the south of the venue. Is it safe at night? I have safety gear, i.e. lights and reflectors, and of course a helmet.

Thanks!

I have ridden the trail in the dark to get to/from the Computer History Museum. Lights are definitely needed. I don't think they've fixed an issue where they have posts in the middle of each lane, instead of a single post in the middle; you'd want to see those well in advance. I've seen that in multiple locations.

I can't speak about general safety, but unfortunately there was an incident a year ago(?), where someone riding a bike at night on that trail had a bike thrown at them, for the purpose of robbing them.
