Caltrans person-in-charge

Does anyone know how to contact the person who is in charge of road safety for Caltrans on the peninsula? I saw another bike accident on the section of Skyline that connects 92 with 280 North in San Mateo.

That narrow stretch of road, with blind curves, is heavily used by bikes and cars and waste hauling trucks. However, there is not a single warning of the safety problem. Its amazing that it has not received any attention for Caltrans.

The District 4 Bike Coordinator is Ina Gerhard. She is quite responsive to well-organized notices of hazardous conditions. A letter from SVBC is a good way to get her attention. If you wish to discuss this with SVBC advocates, attend the Peninsula Committee meeting on March 4th in Redwood City.
