feature suggestion: hazard report

August 20, 2008 - 8:49am -- bobs

Along with the very nice Incident Report form, how about a Hazard Report form? EBBC has a good example and they might share their implementation.

We actually have something like that on the test site. Mark Eliot and I are working on it. He had a site running the Trac software for that, and I found a similar module that works would integrate right into out website.

I think it is the same that they use on the EBBC site, it is called Case Tracker.

The reason we didn't put it on the live site, here, is because the way our website outputs the content. We are in the process of re-branding and re-styling the website, and one of the major updates will be the width of the content area. As you can see on EBBC's site, they have a fluid style, which widens with the browser window, whereas our site is a fixed width.

There are a few other factors to take into account, so I can't give you a definite time as to when we will be using a case tracking system. But we are working on it! ^_^
