riding from tasman/ fair oak in sunnyvale to tully/senter road in san jose
I'm planning to ride a bicycle to work this summer. Can someone please help to tell me a relatively best or shortest route to ride from sunnyvale to san jose. tasman/fair oak to senter/tully. Thx
Can you ride on hardpack? This has worked on my road bike, but wider tires feel better.
You could take the John W Christian Greenbelt to/thru Mission College, Agnew, Garrity to the Guadalupe River Trail (not all paved at this time) to Curtner to Tully. Visible on the bike map at vta.org.
I am beginning to ride, but i think i can handle the hardpack, although i am not sure of the reality.
However, I checked the vta.org, i did not see the route as u said, and i dont know where is W Christian Greenbelt from tasmam/fair oak.Can you please be more specific? thx
Paul, Thx for spending the time to draw out the route.
I was able to ride from sunnyvale to a san tomas aquino path. but somehow i end up at the baypoint or the bayland park. i got lost last weekend.:(
i guess, i need to find a way to print the map out or write out when to turn left or right. thx
Although I like the San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail, you need to cross it and keep going east.
From Mission College, left on Agnew, cross Lafayette, third left onto Garrity, right onto East River, bear left into a park and onto the levee, and put the river on your left, cross the bridge, and that'll get you a bit farther.
