Well, I have finally been sucked into blogging...

This is my first experience of blogging. I’ve always regarded it as a somewhat strange thing to do, actually, but I think it will provide a convenient mechanism with which to move beyond my title in my relationships with SVBC members. I also think it will provide a valuable way for me to get input regarding what is important to individuals in the SVBC community. I hope that other staff and board members of SVBC will follow suit… and for members, we hope to soon host forums for people to share opinions and stories.

I should probably mention one important disclaimer. What this blog won’t be is “professional.” This is going to be uncensored Corinne, here, and if you’d like to continue to see me just as an Executive Director, please stop reading here. I have decided that I favor being totally real, honest, and uncensored. Transparency is important to me. So here in this blog you will receive my unedited opinions, not SVBC positions. Sometimes I represent opinions professionally that aren’t identical to my own, because that’s my job. Thus, please don’t take anything I state here to be SVBC’s official position, because it’s simply not. Okay, there’s my disclaimer.
