Yet another cyclist death highlights overpass dangers
Submitted by Colin Heyne on December 22, 2009 - 3:40pmA cyclist was struck by a car and killed on December 18 while crossing Hwy. 101 on Hillsdale Blvd. in San Mateo. The victim was an as yet unidentified 68 year old man. He was hit by a Caltrans vehicle.
Share your route on the new Mountain View interactive bike map
The City of Mountain View has released an interactive, editable bicycle map. The feature works through Google Maps and allows users to both plan their trips and share their gripes about danger spots and difficult sections of road.

Well, come join us for SVBC's monthly Peninsula Committee meeting this Thursday and share your ideas over dinner. We will be meeting at Ladda's Thai Cuisine, 2053 Broadway, in Redwood City (three blocks from Caltrain). The social hour is 6:00-7:00pm, and the regular meeting is 7:00-8:30pm.
