Meetings...

First, met with CommUniverCity and SJSU Urban Planning professor to talk about efforts to promote biking and walking to schools located in the Five Wounds/Brookwood Terrace neighborhood in San José. As of now, we are planning a kids bike rodeo at Anne Darling Elementary School sometime in May, and also working on having students and volunteers host an Energizer... read the whole blog post.

Mar 15, 2011I didn't either. And, it turned out, neither did the friends I was bicycling to Niles with. The description of the ride said we would start at Coyote Hills Regional Park, by the bay, and ride 9 miles up the trail to Niles, where we would stop for lunch before riding back. That was all. I had debated even about going, as 18 miles is a little far for me. But I decided to chance it.

A friend of my fiancée got his bike stolen a while back. It was locked up on the SJSU campus and he was away from it for about ten minutes while he peeked into her gallery to offer her a hand. It was also this man's birthday. Surprise - your bike is gone!
