San José Team kickoff

Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition sponsored our first team meeting in San Jose last night at Pho69. We were joined by several members who work for the City of San Jose as well as other local residents. We all had one vision in mind: to make San Jose a safe and fun place to ride a bike.

After introductions were made, the team shared different experiences riding in San Jose and set the groundwork for areas of focus, not only for biking around San Jose, but also for the direction of the team. Our first focus is to dive into San Jose's Bike Plan and decide what we feel is important for the City of San Jose to put its energy into. We had a lot of fun hearing each other's stories and getting to know our neighbors. We hope more of you will want to join us on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
