Family fun ride coming to Sunnyvale

I am happy to say that we are very close to completing all the details for an upcoming Family Fun Ride that will be taking place in Sunnyvale on May 21. This is a collaborative effort between SVBC, the City of Sunnyvale and Traffic Safe Communities Network aimed to encourage families to ride their bikes around their community, with the ultimate goal of promoting Safe Routes to Schools. The short 3-mile ride will begin and end at Las Palmas Park. Bike checks will be provided in the beginning by Sports Basement, and food will also be available at the end of the ride.

Stay tuned for more details, and contact me directly (ernesto@bikesiliconvalley.org) if you have experience with rides and would like to help out. Any “birds” out there?
