San José: Public input sought for grants

The Housing Department will be facilitating a series of public meetings to solicit input regarding community needs related to various federal grants programs administered by the City of San José. The Federal programs include Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for People With AIDS (HOPWA). Input will be used to help shape the Housing Department’s funding priorities. The 2012-2013 federal grant application is scheduled for release in the Fall of 2011.

The public is invited to attend any of the meetings listed above or provide written comments to the City of San José Housing Department, 200 E. Santa Clara Street, San José, CA 95113, Attn: Matt Shelton. Comments may also be submitted via e-mail to Matthew.Shelton@sanjoseca.gov.
