This area report just in from San José Department of Parks, Recreation, and Trail Services Acting Trails Manager Yves Zsutty.
PG&E is relocating a natural gas pipeline to permit the Water District to proceed with flood management improvements along Lower Silver Creek from Jackson Avenue to Capitol Expressway. Work on the pipeline starts this week and should be completed by August. A temporary route will permit continued access to the Dobern Avenue bridge but it will likely close for a few weeks as it is elevated and the related trail is restored. More specific schedule info will be shared once available.
