The San Mateo County Transportation Authority is soliciting applicants for its Citizens Advisory Committee. The 15-member, volunteer CAC acts as a liaison between the public and the board of directors, providing valuable input to the board on the projects and programs in the Transportation Expenditure Plan.
The CAC meets on the Tuesday preceding the first Thursday of the month at 4:30 p.m. in San Carlos. Members of the CAC must be residents of San Mateo County. Interested persons can download an application from the TA website at www.smcta.com, call 650-508-6223, or e-mail
cacsecretary@smcta.com.
The Transportation Authority does not have a bicycle advisory committee, so SVBC encourages our members and other cyclists to apply to join the CAC
